Introduction
Greenbelt, A grocery business group in UAE, wants to enhance their
store visibility in
nearby areas and also give their customers a greater buying experience by introducing a
unique on-demand grocery delivery app under their brand.
Business Challenge
At Greenbelt supermarket, consumers usually order groceries through Whatsapp or phone
calls. It’s become a cumbersome task - pick, pack and deliver each order; when the item
list gets bigger, it’s become even worse. Many customer complaints about delivering
wrong items: order delivery takes much time when there are out-of-stock items in
customer orders. From both technical and business perspectives, their requirements were
precise- they needed the best solution for their business problems.
Operation Challenge
The team’s main challenge was to devise a new way of ordering which is more enjoyable
than WhatsApp messages and phone calls for the customer, and to apply a fulfilment
method for order processing which makes the home delivery job smarter and easier for the
supermarket.
Solution
A mobile app which gives customers a virtual experience similar to what the
supermarket sells in the
shop; search for products, Add to cart, give delivery address, place an order and wait for the
delivery. Customers will make the payment while delivering ordered items to their doorstep

As per Greenbelt’s business challenges, created mockups of the entire system flow took approval from the client and allocated five-member team for web and mobile app development envisioning the completion of the project within 25 days.
UI and UX Design
Our aim was to design the UI/UX in such a way that the customer must get a smooth buying experience right from the homepage to the order placement.
Development
Our skilled developers advanced the production stage and thoroughly tested every scenario before the solution was staged online for the final launch. At each stage, the customer was informed about the updates, and all comments and requests for changes were considered and implemented.

During the User acceptance stage, in-depth onsite training was given to the management and staff to provide them with strong command in managing their system.
